Four of us had a wonderful night at Grand Hyatt hotel that night! There were much laughter, giggles and mouth-watering goodies! Thanks to Rinaz for the invitation to dinner with the team, Melvin and Jael, from Waggener-Edstorm. This dinner treat was for Rinaz winning of the Ping.sg 2nd Anniversary - Post of The Year Award.
Dinner at StraitsKitchen is quite an experience. With great variety of food from the different culture and races and many local desserts to choose from, we were spoiled for choice! If I hadn’t been feeling sick that night, I might have gone for few more rounds to sample all the dishes! *LOL!*
It was my first time meeting Jael but we were chatting like old friends almost immediately! It was also great to be able to have a good chat with Melvin. Both of them shared a about their job and shared their experiences from traveling. As usual, Rinaz and I were enjoying each other’s company through the night. She’s got a real unique personality which makes one just want to find out more, even after meeting for many times.

I’ve not been much of a fan for mp3 player in the past as I need only 15minutes to get to work. But ever since I started having to travel daily on bus for at least an hour, I found that I CANNOT live without a mp3 player! Why?
As how Bitter Stickgirl tells her story…
Or when you have some guys playing some games on their PSP with loudest volume (some even had their mp3 player blasting music into their ears lah!). Or when you have a group of students or aunties sitting at the same deck as you, the journey will just seem to be at least twice as long as usual! I cannot tahan (tolerate) such noise in an enclose area!

The day started bright and early for me on Saturday. The team decided to meet at Asian Civilisations Museum at 9am to get things ready for Social Media Breakfast 3 (SMB3). Guess I was too “gan cheong” (excited) as usual, and reached at 9 sharp. When I reached, the venue for SMB3 looks like this…

My first impression? “WOW! What a place!”
It brought my excitement to the next level! Having missed the SMB1 and being in the cosy cafe for SMB2, the River Room at ACM indeed brought SMB3 to a next level! Thanks NHB for the great opportunity and hosting SMB3 at ACM. I’m sure everyone just can’t wait for SMB4 now! (Planning already in progress! Look out for it!)

With all the buzz of the coming iPhone 3G, I’m pretty excited about it myself. But before I can get a chance to touch it, I got a chance to review the Olympics phone by Samsung - The F480. I know its strange why I am reviewing this instead of the much talk about Omnia. Well, since its already so much talked about, no point me writing for it again right? So how’s this small, sleek and rather sexy Samsung F480 has that was compared with the iPhone 3G?
“The Apple iPhone 3G and Samsung F480 Tocco are similar phones. Each of them comes with similar features and capabilities. Which one is better is a question that many people want answered.” by Caroline Telford
Well, you can read what Caroline has to say about comparing the two for now. Here I’m going to share how I feel about the Samsung F480 aka the “Olympics phone”.

F480 with leather cover that came in standard package
The first thing that impressed me was how Samsung took into consideration how users would want to protect their precious phone. There’s 2 battery covers that come in their standard package. One is a matching cover with the back material that’s a little not-so-user-friendly as it’s quite hard to slide out. And the other is this black leather version where there’s a flip on the other side to protect the screen. Overall the phone looks very executive like with the cover. A plus for beauty and functionality of the cover.
